​We are a Christian Spiritualist Church loving run by Rita Dobson for over 30 years , she is a one of a kind lady whos warmth and generosity is second to none . And we all love her .   

Her warmth and huge heart greets you when you walk into the centre along with the wonderful Margaret and Chris who makes the tea and coffee and welcomes you in and sells the raffle tickets . The lovely Alan Peart , also helps chris with the raffle and sits chair along with David and Bob . Jim is also chairperson and  gives spiritual healing after the service . Our service is held every sunday and starts at 6.30pm but doors open from 6.pm and ends about 8.pm .                                                                                                                                                                                                     For those of you who have never been to a Spiritualist church before, here is a little insight into how our church runs . let me start by reasure you . Chairs dont levitatate off the floor , the medium doesn't go into a trance and starts talking all funny , well maybe not some .... only kidding and doors and windows dont open by themselves nothing spookie happens .
We are kind of like a normal church we say paryers and sing hymns but instead of a vicar or priest one of the lovely gents named above holds the service , the chairman opens by welcoming you to the service and reminding you to turn mobile phones off as the only message we want to receive is from the spirit plan .... he then asks the medium for the opening pray this is followed by the singing of our version of the lords pray . Then the chair says a short pray of healing ,after which we have a moments silence ended with the singing of the healing pray . the medium then gives his or her reading this can be a story with a meaning in it or a poem that has something to think about our spiritual path ,
we then sing another hymn whilest the donation plate goes round this goes towards the running of the church . the medium then begins giving messages . we have one more pray and two more songs and the service is brought to a close . And of course the raffle .
